Community Connections
At NQACC we understand that family is the principal influence in a child's life. We partner closely with families to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Twice a year we offer the chance for families to fill out a developmental screening and schedule a conference with one of the their children's teachers. This gives families and teachers a chance to check in about their child's progress and learn more about what families' goals are for their children.
SPU Partnership
We are lucky to partner with students and classes from SPU to host student observations, Interns, and student teachers who are interested in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Community Helpers
Throughout the year, NQACC and individual classrooms invite community helpers to visit, talk about their professions or hobbies, and share with classrooms. An example of this would be our annual Fire Fighter visit, which takes place in the Summer.

Ice Cream Party
At the end of September we celebrate the first month of school with an Ice Cream Party. Families are invited to pick up their children and then join in on the fun. This is an opportunity for families to start building communities within their classroom and through the center.
Open House
In October, children have the opportunity to show off their classroom to their families. This is a great opportunity to families to connect with each other and with their child's teacher.

Halloween Parade
At the end of October, NQACC hosts a Halloween parade for children and families. We encourage everyone to dress up and visit booths around our block.

Christmas Program
Every year, our classrooms prepare for a Christmas Program and invite their families to watch them sing on stage in the first week of December
Spirit Week and the Move-A-Thon
In the spring at NQACC we have a week-long Spirit Week with many opportunity for children and teachers to dress up and show their spirit. This week concludes with a Move-A-Thon Fundraiser in our gym. We invite families to participate in the Move-A-Thon!
